i am so full of love and affection for brendon i just remember how stunted he was during fever and pretty odd… like how many ideas he had but how nervous he was to share them and how he didnt have confidence his songwriting skills or his lyrics… and now he’s running the show and he’s so happy and he’s the best version of himself, he’s so confident, he’s so independent, everything is organically his and you can tell how much better off he is? and god i just love him, i love how far he’s come, im so proud of him, im so happy he is able to be himself and exist just the way he does and im so happy he’s out here doing what he loves and that people are responding to it. he deserves all the success in the world. he’s so good. and maybe the new music isnt your style, maybe it isnt your thing and thats fine, but you know what? it’s so like… unapologetically him. it’s so literal. he is so open and aggressive and in your face and honest and his music reflects that now and im so proud of him. he is everything to me
